New User Onboarding
Welcome to the getting started documentation for AutoCloud. We're excited you're here and looking forward to getting you set up with the platform. To register for a free account, click here. If you already have an account, you can log in here.
There are two different ways you can onboard to the AutoCloud platform. You can either authenticate using your cloud accounts in which case AutoCloud will only require read-only access. Or, if you'd like to skip the onboarding process entirely and go straight to the app, to create Terraform Blueprints then feel free to click on the right-hand button that says "Go To App".

If you've clicked the "Go To App" button then you can stop reading now. The rest of this guide will walk you through the process of connecting a cloud account, as well as other integrations you may find useful.
To add an account, follow the onboarding flow. For AWS, you can accomplish this by using a cross-account role. For Azure, the process involves using a service principal and client secret. On GCP, it is done through a service account key. To add an AWS account, you can utilize either Terraform or CloudFormation to acquire a Role ARN.

The next steps are optional but recommended:
Configuring Scanning Options: Regions and time for Snapshots

Connecting Remote IaC State: we are currently supporting Terraform Cloud and AWS S3.

Connecting Source Control: Only Github is supported, this is recommended for trying out IaC Catalog features

Adding Team Members: if you invite them to your organization they can skip the onboarding flow and see the cloud accounts that were hooked.

Great! We are now ready to launch AutoCloud!

This is the IaC Explorer page you will see once you've hooked up your first cloud account and the scanning has finished:

In the meantime, you can explore IaC Catalog and launch Quick Starts for AWS, Azure and GCP.
