Resource States

After comparing the remote state files data with the current live resource data, a resource can be in any of the following 3 states:

• Codified: We found this asset when we scanned your accounts and it is configured as described in your IaC state files
• Drifted: We found this asset when we crawled your accounts but it has diverged from your IaC state files
• Unmanaged: We found this asset when we scanned your accounts but it is not in any of your integrated IaC state files





Filtering

The results can be filtered by

• IaC Status (codified / drift / managed)
• State Files (remote state files)

Filtering by status

The status options will be listed in this section based on the results of the asset explorer, showing only the options for which there is at least 1 resource

• codified
• drift
• managed

Filtering by State Files

By selecting state files under the state files filter, only the codified / drifted resources will be shown in the assets inventory table

Drifted Resources

Click the button alonside the Drifted status can be clicked to know which fields are different from the resource live data and its remote state file representation,

The drift will be shown in a side panel
